These one-of-a-kind statement jewellery pieces are part of my ongoing ‘abstract alchemies’ project, a series of deconstructed collage cluster experiments. I take elements from favourite portfolio pieces, cut them out, and apply resin, to make each one into a little abstract jewel. These elements are then put lovingly back together – with gold jump rings, flower cutouts, and other pretty fragments – to create unique, intricate shapes.
Designed with care and created by hand, with golden stainless steel findings, and a single pearlescent bead. Dangling collage elements measure around 5cm in width and about 8.5cm in length; the necklace measures 42cm in length, and is secured with a gold lobster clasp. 🍃
