These one-of-a-kind statement jewellery pieces are part of my ongoing ‘abstract alchemies’ project, a series of deconstructed collage cluster experiments. I take elements from favourite portfolio pieces, cut them out, and apply resin, to make each one into a little abstract jewel. These elements are then put lovingly back together – with gold jump rings, flower cutouts, and other pretty fragments – to create unique, intricate shapes.
Designed with care and created by hand, with golden stainless steel findings, and pearlescent beads. Dangling collage elements of each earring measure around 4cm in width, and the longest is 7cm in length; 9cm total length with ear hooks included.
