These one-of-a-kind statement jewellery pieces are part of my ongoing ‘abstract alchemies’ project, a series of deconstructed collage cluster experiments. I take elements from favourite portfolio pieces, cut them out, and apply resin, to make each one into a little abstract jewel. These elements are then put lovingly back together – with gold jump rings, flower cutouts, and other pretty fragments – to create unique, intricate shapes.
Designed with care and created by hand, with golden stainless steel findings, a single pearlescent bead, and at the back, a stainless steel pin. The brooch is 5cm across, and 9cm in length. 🍃
